Clorox Ingredients Made Public
Clorox has laid claim to be the first company in the U.S. and Canadian cleaning, disinfecting and laundry products industry to reveal its preservatives and dyes. Clorox will also publish a list of all the fragrance ingredients used in its products. These revelations build on Clorox's continuing practice of listing its active ingredients that have been provided to customers since the past two years.
Clorox will enumerate its fragrance ingredients by numerical and alphabetical order, linking each Clorox ingredient with its chemical name and CAS Registry number in a pdf document. Clorox is currently updating product labels with the declaration that a list of the Clorox product ingredients will be available at www.CloroxCSR.com. Clorox also launched a website with detailed ingredients for more than 230 of its cleaning, disinfecting and auto care products in the month of February, last year.
