It has taken two years to get the ball rolling on the idea and only now has the government of California been active to make changes. The governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has already signed the bill to make California the first ever state to regulate chemicals found in all consumer products including cleaning products.
This is a huge achievement for environmentalists and activists who have protested year after year for this cause. It is a matter now of finishing the paper work in order to make the bill official. Consumers will be able to choose more easily toxic from non toxic products.
